William Osborn
William Osborn was born in Austin in 1959. He graduated from St. Stephens Episcopal High School, and thereafter from Brown University with a BS degree in Geology in 1981. He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Texas and commenced his career as a hearing examiner with the Railroad Commission of Texas. In 1989, he commenced private practice with the firm of Patman & Patman, focusing on Railroad Commission and Texas General Land Office matters. Mr. Osborn remains active before those agencies and at times as counsel for the General Land Office. For one client he assists in the management of a large Western land portfolio including projects relating to wind power, oil and gas, pipelines, and short line railroading. For another client he is general counsel of an E & P company based in Austin. Mr. Osborn is married, with three grown children. He has served on the Vestry of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, the Board of St. Andrews Episcopal School, and as a committee member for Boy Scout Troop 5 of Austin.
